DWT Frequently-Asked-Questions (FAQs)
What is a is the difference between a Dynamic Web Template,
Super Themes and a FrontPage Web Template?
Dynamic Web Templates (DWTs) is a highly specialized
template having editable and non-editable regions, which attaches to one or
more web pages. Web pages having an attached DWT are automatically updated
when non-editable regions are revised on the DWT itself; page specific
information is added on a page to page basis within editable regions.
DWTs only operate with FP2003.
Super Themes gives you the wrap-around theme look with the ease-of-use of regular FrontPage themes, just bring up the Super Themes Browser from the Format menu, select a Super Theme and press the OK button and your existing web site has that modern wrap around theme
look.
Super Themes are also compatible FrontPage Web Templates, so if you are creating a new web, just bring up the "New Web" dialog and select from the available
Super Theme Web Templates.
Super Themes will operate with FP2000, 2002 and 2003.
FrontPage Web Templates, once installed, will
appear in the normal "New Web" dialog. After the web has been created, your
can customize the web pages for your purposes. The package also includes
Splash Intro pages and Page Templates. Web Templates will operate with
FP2000, 2002 and 2003.
